If i was dealing with a situation of changing rotas within the work force i would have to use a more democratic behavior . i have tried in the past in former employment to change a rota and not weigh the staff. I had severe opersion to this and the team did not feel that they were knotted or consulted. It was only once i had expla ined to the team wherefore i had to make th! e decision that this was accepted. As from my experance now i would get hold of the team more, by having meetings with them a explaining the reasons for changing the rota and complicate the team by invititing them to have input.
